Don’t have a car? Guelph Transit provides local bus service through the City. All conventional buses are equipped with a bike rack and Guelph Transit’s full fleet of low-floor buses provide accessible service to all its bus routes operating.

Accessible bus service is also available through Mobility Services, a specialized shared-ride transit service that provides accessible transportation within the city limits of Guelph. Access to GO Trains is through the Guelph Central GO Station at 79 Carden Street. GO buses can be accessed through either the Guelph Central GO station or at the University of Guelph Bus Stop at 50 Stone Road East. Service is provided to Georgetown, Brampton, Mississauga, York Region and Toronto.

For those looking to travel by bus to points outside of Guelph, Greyhound operates a variety of routes that provide transportation to Toronto and communities throughout Ontario, as well as to destinations in the United States. Coach Canada – Runs regular service to the Niagara Peninsula,( St. Catharines, Niagara Falls, Buffalo, NY) stopping to pick up passengers at the bus terminal downtown, at Gordon & College and at the UC Loop at the University of Guelph.

Through ABOUTOWN – Northlink, daily bus service runs from both the downtown terminal and the U of G University Centre, to MacMaster University and the Hamilton GO Terminal.

Elliott Coach Lines (Fergus) Ltd. offers weekday commuter bus service from Guelph to Elora and Fergus.

John C. Munroe Hamilton International Airport, located 37 kilometres from Guelph offers passenger service to many North American, as well as select overseas destinations.

Lester B. You can register with the Health Care Connect program who works with local physicians and other providers to help link people in need of a primary care provider. Conestoga’s Guelph Campus, located in the northwest end of the city, is becoming a provincial leader in education and training for the motive power trades, including automotive, truck and coach, heavy equipment, recreational vehicles and motorcycles. There are over 1,000 hectares of parks and open space and a 70 km network of trails throughout the city. You can canoe or paddleboat on the Speed or Eramosa Rivers, visit one of Canada’s largest mechanical floral clocks at Riverside Park, go hiking, biking or running, enjoy walking with your dog in one of the many leash free parks or one of the many playgrounds for children.
