Exclusive Marketing Privileges

To quote the much-heralded phase “Membership has its Privileges” - participants who enroll their buildings in the Program have the exclusive rights to market approved buildings using the Certified Rental Building Program Brand and logo. In fact, we strongly encourage participants to proudly display the Certified Rental Building Program logo and inform their tenants and prospective tenants about the Program at every opportunity. It is part of the Leveraged Brand Marketing Model strategy designed to quickly build brand distinction and awareness with Ontario rental housing consumers.

Member Marketing Rights & Tools

Marketing rights and privileges extends only to those participant’s buildings that have been “certified” under the program. Participants will be able to market the Certified Rental Building Program brand and logos as set out in the CRB Program Brand Marketing Standards Guide and providing they are in good standing with all terms and conditions of the program.

Exclusive Brand Marketing Privileges - Participants receive exclusive rights to use the Certified Rental-Building brand and logo to market and advertise all buildings that have been sanctioned as having met the requirements of the Program. A Brand Marketing Standards Guide will be forwarded to participants once their building(s) has received official certification status. This Guide will outline the correct use of the Certified Rental Building Program brand and logos (i.e. the quality of typography and image that may appear together with the logo and as whole make up the graphic identity).

Buildings Listed on Website – www.crbprogram.org - All participant’s building(s) granted “Certified” status, along with their address & phone number, will be placed on the Certified Rental Building Program’s website. Inquiring rental housing consumers will be able to access the listing of all Certified Rental Buildings. A link back option to a participant’s website will also be made available for inquiring customers

Tenant/Prospective Brochures – Participants will have exclusive rights to use the Program’s specially designed customer brochures (new tenant & existing tenant) as both as a sales promotion tool and a general information piece to inform their customers about the Certified Rental Building Program and the building’s certification status. These brochures are free.

Posters & Wall Plaque – Participant’s Buildings will receive a special wall plaque and two poster size Certified Rental Building advertisements to proudly display in prominent customer traffic areas of their buildings.

CRB Program “Building Merchandising” Plan – a generic building signage program has been developed exclusively for Participants in the program to take advantage of to purchase quality outdoor signage at attractive market prices.
